In this course, you will learn how to use the Custom Cabinet Planner app (formerly called The World Domination Custom Cabinetry app), which was purpose-built to help custom cabinet manufacturers manage their projects, teams, assets and finances.
This is NOT an ERP or an MRP system, nor is it a Formal Project Management system with Gant and Pert charts, this is a practical calendar based project management system that includes KANBAN or Board interfaces for managing production.
Using Notion to develop this template allows you to add, subtract and change this until your heart is content. Notion is a no-code app that allows the average person to make systems that help them achieve their objectives in ways that work for them. If you are not familiar with Notion, it has been described as a virtual Lego block system, and that feels like as good a description as any to me. What that means is EVERYTHING can be context sensitive, not reference only, so you can create a large database, but then add portals into that database only displaying the parts that are relative to the work at hand, and right were you need it to be, surrounded by all the other context sensitive instructions, drawings, etc.
Keep in mind that this app changes day-to-day, so the interface and instructions may not match your version exactly. Overall concepts are what’s important, and ultimately these courses will get updated as time and resources allow.
